El bilingüismo y el contacto de lenguas: Enfoques y perspectivas. Un diálogo ficticio

Abstract

El siguiente diálogo ficticio tiene lugar en el contexto del foro (ficticio) de radio “Comunicación humana y sus problemas”. A  él fueron invitados los investigadores de sociolingüística Gabriela Coronado Suzán, Jane H. Hill, José Antonio Flores Farfán, quienes trabajan el contexto mexicano de contacto de lenguas. Sus posturas ante el tema de bilingüismo y contacto de lenguas fueron reconstruidas con base en sus obras principales en lingüística mexicana (véase la bibliografía), las cuales fueron publicadas en la misma colección del Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social (CIESAS, México). También está presente Ralph Ludwig, lingüísta alemán en representación de un grupo de investigadores de contacto de lenguas.

The Author

Tabea Salzmann studied Hispanic Studies and Indology at the University of Halle-Wittenberg. She finished her doctoral studies in Romance Linguistics at the same university, writing her thesis on language contact in Andean and European Spanish. After working on a two year postdoctoral project on language acquisition and identity in multilingual contexts at the UNAM in Mexico, she is now starting investigations on Indian influences on Portuguese at the University of Bremen. Her main areas of research are language contact, bilingualism, colonial linguistics and inter- and multiculturality. One of her publications is the book Language, Identity and Urban Space: the Language Use of Latin American Migrants (2014).
